Sometimes when the physician turns over these responsibilities to someone else only to have stress just comes from a different direction.

At Doctors Financial Health Advisors, our mission is to provide physicians and medical groups high quality personal service. We do this by treating every client as if they were our only client. We focus the goals of our clients as goals of ours and will do all that we can to accomplish them.
Our First Consultation
At our first complementary consultation, we will discuss the issues that you have and formulate solutions. Our time together will give us an opportunity to learn about your practice and you will gain an understanding of DHFA and what we can do for you and your practice. Depending on your needs we will discuss the next steps in our relationship.
Office Site Visits
If your needs require us to work with your office staff, we will spend time with your office staff in a non-authoritarian approach to watch and learn what is really happening in your practice. Interactions with front office, back office and billing staff would be done with in a non-intrusive way to prevent disruption. Each visit will be summarized in a report that you can review, distribute and discuss with us.
Data Collection
When data is needed for analysis, we will work with your billing staff and software vendors to collect the data needed. We will not just send a list of what is needed and wait for it in our inbox. We are there to make sure it happens timely and effectively.
Project and Change Management
Your needs may be beyond a simple assessment and report. If we are tasked with moving your practice through a change, whether it is something simple like redesign of the office workflow or complex as the coordination of an office move, we will provide an open approach to our progress as well as provide you with our availability to discuss any concerns and issues as they arise. It is your office and you need to know what is going on without the worry of the details.
Staff Training
If your office requires training; either one-on-one or group; we will provide a friendly, positive training environment to insure your staff learns what is needed. We do not move through the training materials to say they are trained. We work with the staff until they can understand and complete the tasks.
Our approach with clients is designed to be very flexible so we can serve the physician and medical group best way for them. We know you don’t generally work 9 to 5, so we are available when you are.
Domonic Hammes is the founding principle of Doctors Financial Health Advisors, Inc. He has his degree in Healthcare Management from Southern Illinois University and has been working within the healthcare field since 1984.
After spending a few years managing medical practices, Domonic discovered that many of the repetitive reporting required by the medical groups could easily be generated and monitored through more automated processes. That led to him moving to sales and support of document management and practice management systems. It quickly became apparent that spending 10's of thousands on computer solutions for medical practices did not solve the true problems and issues in that office.
Doctors Financial Health Advisors, Inc. was formed in 1996 and was initially established to work with software vendors in implementing their medical billing and document management solutions into medical practices. Since then DFHA grew diversified into general management consulting, accounts receivable management consulting, workflow management, practice analysis and reporting, training and management mentoring.
